i recently just dyed my hair a semi permanent red hair color like yesterday, and i absolutley hate it! My hair was black before so i had to bleach it first, i thought that the red would come out like an auburny color but it didn't! i now want to go over it with a mahogany copper brown permanent dye. I thought that since it's a permanent dye it would go over, but my mom who used to be a cosmotologist said that it could go over, but it might make the semi-permanent color lock in because of the permanent one or it could turn my hair a really ugly green color. help! i've been searching for an answer to my question forever now, and nothing! what should i do?
Hair question!?
Bleaching it would have stripped out your natural colour and dried out your hair. I have had a similar problem when got streaks done professionally a number of years ago. Best advice is to keep having dee[p conditioning treatments, regular hair trims and keep putting through a semi permanent colour to protect it . Also use leave in hair moisturisers.
If ur hair is long you can get it cut short and let the damage grow out.
Good luck
Hair question!?
all u have to do is go get what is called a rinse.
it takes all the chemicals out and ur hair will be back to normal! its expensive though!
Hair question!?
